Our cashmere is made in India, artisanal weaving, dyeing, and manual printing, using 100% cashmere goat wool thread.
Cashmere is obtained from the wool of goats in the Kashmir province.
At the end of winter, the Kashmir goat develops a thick woolly coat covered with long hairs to protect itself from the cold; the down is then collected by brushing, a long and delicate process.
Cashmere is a fine, very soft, and silky fiber.
Although extremely lightweight, it provides great warmth. Because it is rare, it is considered a luxury fiber.
